Mission
The Centre for Religious Studies (CIRel).conducts research and education in the field of religion in the Balkans and networks the peace activists for promotion and strengthening of tolerance in multi-confessional society. CIRel is engaged in various activities: educational programmes (workshops, regional schools and seminars, academic courses), research, and conferences.
Aims
- Promotion of religious tolerance, dialogue and reconciliation.
- Strengthening of the peace activism;
- Indicating the values of the religions in the Balkans; and
- Raising the awareness on the significance of religion in the contemporary civil society

Internet as a Tool in Religious Education and the Process of Reconciliation in the former Yugoslavia:
presentations of traditional religious communities, peace building initiatives of civil society, methodical and systematic scientific narratives on religion as a social phenomenon, legislation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia , Macedonia and Serbia and Montenegro related to religious communities, minority and human rights, - media dealing with different religious matters, - position of religion in contemporary education, - places for open, interactive communication on given topic (forums)
